While humans have long slaughtered animals to feed on for survival, that action is really a primitive method which we should have long out grown, however the massive meat industry has that crave for cash, therefore they spend billions to promote the vile act of kill-to-eat as the best and only way to stay alive, strong and healthy. Heck, they even use biblical fables to market the ancient practice and people take it as fact.

Acts 10 v 13

13 Then a voice said to him: “Get up, Peter, kill and eat!”

Note the verse does not say "god said to him", so maybe it was just the character's imagination working with his crave for a medium rare burger 🙂

The reality is the human body over time forced itself to process meat intake, and it's never totally digested because our bodies were never made to consume meat. We evolved to feed of vegetation and our teeth confirms that. The molars are grinders for nuts, seeds, roots etc, unlike the carnivore beasts of the land which has all long pointy teeth for tearing into raw flesh.

There are many plants that will provide the body with way more usable protein than red meat, poultry or even fish, simply because the valuable properties are delivered to the blood stream almost immediately and does the job to restore energy, then passes through the excretion system completely, leaving no residue that leads to cancer and other medical issues.

The grand TOFU

Beans have proven to be the best source of energy, and they are plenty and long ranging in flavor. The soybean is the one chosen by the "alt meat" industry 'cos it does a great job to make Tofu - from the Asian hemisphere and yuh dun know doze folks live quite long and full of energy even at age 95.

from Japanese tōfu, from Chinese dòufu, from dòu ‘beans’ + fŭ ‘rot, turn sour’.

Made from dried soybeans that are soaked in water, crushed, and boiled. The mixture is separated into solid pulp (okara) and soy “milk.” So much food forms can be derived from this bean and with the creative methods applied by vegan cooks at the highest level, one can enjoy supremely tasty meals that is filling and sustaining.
